At the heart of the book are the pogroms that erupted immediately after the German occupation of these regions in June-July 1941. I've been collecting and studying the photographic evidence for these events for some time, and I therefore looked through the albums on the Vilna Ghetto site with fascination. I found new photographs of some of the places that I'm writing about and photographs that I believe are misidentified. I'd like to discuss these photographs in detail and to find out more about the ones that are new to me. please get in touch.
